Deyder Cintron: Building Brands and Rapid-Fire Testing Facebook Ads

Let’s take a minute to talk about how cool Deyder Cintron is, not to mention some of the big name clients he has worked with.

You might have heard of a few of them… do Disney and Google ring a bell? How about McDonalds or Macy’s?

He started out in the music industry, which lead to working with creative agencies. That got him started in digital marketing, where, like many of us, he used to do a little bit of everything. Design, building WordPress websites, Facebook Ads… you name it and it was a service he probably provided.

But he figured out pretty quickly he needed to niche down if he was going to scale and make decent money

Sound familiar? The need to niche your services is something I teach the entrepreneurs and business owners I work with every day because it’s the only way to have a successful sales funnel.

Anyway…

One of the first things Deyder said to me as we got started talking about why he went from offering a ton of digital marketing services to helping build connections and brand awareness with Facebook ads was:

I’ve always been the kind of guy who wants to accomplish what others say ‘oh, that’s impossible.’

So you know right there that this Expert Spotlight gets off to a good start. You can watch it right here:

Giving the Little Guy Enterprise the Power

Through his agency, Avail Digital Marketing, Deyder works with coaches and financial advisors and helps them go from 0 to 6 figures in as little as 2 months. His agency helps with everything from course production to marketing.

His slogan? “We give the little guy enterprise power.”

And that’s one of the major ways he is able to get in with bigger brands.

He knows that if he focuses on the client’s needs from the get go, providing value before he offers any sort of sales pitch, he will likely get the contract. At the beginning, anyone you work with will likely think they have more to offer you than you do to offer them. It’s your job to convince them that you’re valuable and can help them grow.

With brands, it’s really essential to establish a relationship that’s full-on value from the get-go because they have a lot more to give you than you have to give them (at least from their initial perspective).

Deyder Cintron

We talk about this at length in the interview – including some really sweet examples of how he’s gotten major clients through something as simple as a Facebook Message – but the core of it is this:

All you want to get is: first a reply, and second a call.

Deyder Cintron’s Holy Grail of Getting Big Brand Clients

If you’re reading this there’s a decent chance you’re into sales funnels. You may even be using Funnelytics, my funnel mapping and analytics tool for marketers and agencies.

So you know I’m all about the funnels.

When it comes to sales funnels, the “holy grail” is the evergreen funnel. You know, the one where you make money consistently with less and less effort on your part.

But if you’re trying to work with the biggest brands, your holy grail is a little different.

The holy grail if you want bigger clients, bigger brand names, is literally getting in front of them.

Deyder Cintron

The ability to get your clients to see you is the holy grail of getting big name clients. It makes how you structure a simple Facebook message or deciding to do a “Bold Call” incredibly important.

Because once you’re in the door and making human contact, you’re on your way to success.

Why they choose you is more about the relationship. It’s more about going beyond the service. It’s how you do things. It’s how trustworthy you are, beyond just the work

Rapid-Fire Testing Facebook Ads

One of the things that Deyder specializes in is rapid-fire testing Facebook Ads. We go into this in-depth in the interview.

If you manage Facebook Ads for clients – or for yourself – you have got to check this out. It may change the way you approach ad testing.

He breaks it down rapid-fire Facebook Ad testing into three phases:

Phase 1: Targeting
Phase 2: Hook and Message
Phase 3: Creative

Deyder created this method for one simple reason…

Rapid-fire testing allows you to create the ad before the funnel, so you will know and be able to cater to your audience while strategically isolating and testing the hook, the offer, and the message.

We start talking Facebook Ads about half way through the interview, so make sure to check it out right here.
